What is the time-frame of the project?
•A project ends in November with the Grand Jamboree with respective deadlines beforehand. We are aiming for participation in October 2026!
When can I apply?
•At any time! We are currently looking for members.
How much time do you put into a team?
•It’s difficult to give a general answer, as it really depends on the project phase and how the team is structured. What’s most important to us is that everyone gets actively involved, but we will tackle it as a team and help each other together.
Who are we looking for?
•Students from the University of Bonn or Rheinbach University of Applied Sciences. Preferably in the field of biosciences or computer science. But this is not a must, because there are various tasks. So, feel free to ask!
What tasks are there?
•There are generally a lot of tasks when organizing the team, its finances, outreach and projects. Following taks are there: Dry- and Wet-Lab (Organizing, modeling and generally lab work), human practices, social media, sponsoring, Design of the team website and iGEM-Wiki, etc.
What prior knowledge I you need?
No prior knowledge necessary. Only motivation required
